Maggie Northey
Maggie Northey, originally from Wilmington, Delaware, began training at the New York City Joffrey Ballet School Jazz and Contemporary program during her senior year of high school. Starting as a young performer, Maggie had many exciting performance opportunities including performing as a member of the touring cast of Debbie Allen’s production of Brothers of the Knight. Most recently, Maggie graduated from The Joffrey Ballet School. She is eternally grateful to have worked alongside great professionals during her time at the school. She has worked closely with Angelica Stiskin, Jakob Karr, Beth Crandall, Antonia Franceschi, and Gabe Katz to name just a few.
While in school, Maggie embarked on professional jobs that included dancing in the immersive musical Love Around the Block for the grand re-opening of the flagship Hérmes store in New York City. She performed in New York Fashion Week for Brazilian designer PatBo. She was a dancer at the opening ceremony of the Perelman Performing Arts Center. Throughout her career, she has participated in programs such as The Broadway Dreams Foundation, The Rock School of Dance, Gaga Lab at Orsolina 28 and the Protégé Movement created by Stacey Tookey. Maggie, although having diverse training has found one her niches to be in improvisation. She loves how a dancer's curiosity brings possibilities within their imaginative and exploratory movements.
